ZESCO Limited says it cannot accommodate anymore companies which wish to be exempted from load shedding because the power utility firm is already stretching the limits. Zesco Spokesperson Matongo Maumbi also says some time adjustments which are being made have caused a delay in releasing this week’s load shedding schedule. In an interview, Monday, Maumbi said Zesco was not load shedding consumers as much as it needed to. “The over demand creates the need for emergency load shedding. So, you cannot talk about emergency load shedding without talking about the heightened demand. We have exemptions. Hospitals, critical installations are exempted.
