POLICE have stated that the group of youths who planned to stage a peaceful protest against load shedding notified them on unheaded paper, making it difficult for them to respond. Deputy Police Public Relations Officer Danny Mwale says the youths have been advised not to proceed with the protest. A group calling themselves the ‘Protest Movement’ recently wrote to the Zambia Police to notify them of their intention to stage a peaceful protest against load shedding.
