FORMER president Edgar Lungu is demanding the immediate and unconditional release of Socialist Party president Dr Fred M´membe, who was arrested on Thursday and charged with sedition. Lungu says the political oppression, persecution and police brutality escalating under the new dawn government is ‘offside in football terms’ and must end.
