THE Public Service Micro Finance Company Limited (PSMFC) says it has disbursed K10.8 million in loans for solar energy solutions to public service workers in 2024. In an interview, PSMFC Chief Executive Officer Mubanga Mwiko said the company had signed 25 memoranda of understanding with solar energy companies. He also mentioned that the loans were being offered to public service workers at nine percent interest. “We have what we call agro-non portfolio, that’s where these solar energy alternatives are.
