HOME Affairs and Internal Security Minister Jack Mwiimbu says government does not deem it necessary to conduct lifestyle audits for all government workers, including traffic police officers, at the moment. Responding to a question from Chimwemwe PF MP Allen Banda in the National Assembly, Thursday, Mwiimbu said lifestyle audits for civil servants will be implemented when government deems it necessary and puts in place a legal framework for such audits. Meanwhile, Mwiimbu has urged the public not to pay bribes to traffic officers, advising them to demand a receipt or to pay fines to designated banks.
