A US$1000 per shot Louis XIII Grande Champagne Cognac bottle, which was opened 24 years ago at the prestigious Royal Livingstone Hotel, has been depleted. The Cognac bottle was opened in 2000 after then President, Frederick Chiluba, commissioned the resort then under the management of Sun International Hotels. Former California governor and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, James Bond 007 actor Sean Connery, Oscar award winner Charlize Theron and former director general of the office of the president Xavier Chungu are among those who had taken a shot from the bottle.
