THE latest Auditor General’s report on parastatal bodies has revealed that Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia has failed to recall 30 tank cars valued at K25,107,715 that were leased to Sable Chemicals Limited of Zimbabwe. According to the report, on January 10, 2017, NCZ entered into a contract with Sable Chemicals Limited of Zimbabwe to lease part of or the entire fleet of 30 tank cars for purposes of carrying imported liquefied anhydrous ammonia from South Africa to Sable’s Factory in Zimbabwe.
