HEALTH Minister Elijah Muchima says government has been looking after former president Edgar Lungu whenever he requests for medical intervention, both locally and abroad. Dr Muchima, however, says government cannot discuss the health status of Lungu and FDD leader Edith Nawakwi, as doing so would be against the medical practitioners’ ethics. On Tuesday, Chasefu Independent MP Misheck Nyambose raised a point of order, questioning whether Dr Muchima was in order to keep quiet and not update the country on the two leaders’ health.
