ZESCO Limited says it has now slightly shifted to supplying more power during the day after reducing expensive imports and increasing in-land generation. Zesco also says it stopped producing the load shedding schedules because vandals were taking advantage by stealing transformers and cables during power cuts. The utility has further revealed that in March alone, seven youths died while trying to vandalise Zesco infrastructure and cables.
