A consortium of civil society organisations has commended the Judicial Service Commission for advertising judge positions, saying this demonstrates a commitment to building public trust in the Judiciary The Judicial Service Commission has invited applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill 20 positions as Judges in the High Court and Court of Appeal. The Commission says applicants must have at least 10 years of active legal practice, possess high moral character, integrity and impartiality, and must demonstrate a high degree of professional competence, good temperament, among other requirements.
