AFRICAN Union Commission (AUC) Chairperson Mahamoud Ali Youssouf has urged African countries to prioritise internal funding for key sectors, particularly those impacted by the recent withdrawal of foreign aid by the United States of America. He highlighted that the imposition of taxes on the continent, if not handled carefully, could weaken African States and jeopardise ongoing industrialisation efforts.
