THE Teaching Council of Zambia (TCZ) has clarified that the proposed licensure examinations are meant for newly qualified graduates, not already serving teachers. On Thursday, Chief Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa announced that Cabinet had approved a bill to introduce licensure examinations for teachers to enhance quality assurance and professionalism in the teaching profession.
