THE Independent Broadcasting Authority (IBA) has suspended broadcasting licences for five radio and two television stations for failing to pay the 2025 annual operating fees. In a statement, Wednesday, IBA Acting Director General Susen Ndumingu said the Authority exhausted all laid down procedures as outlined in the guidelines for the enforcement and handling of compliance breaches. “The Independent Broadcasting Authority Board has with immediate effect suspended broadcasting licenses for five radio stations and two television stations for failure to pay the 2025 annual operating fees.
