THE man who waged the most vicious tribal campaign in the previous two election campaigns has finally been served a portion of justice. In a landmark ruling, Kasama Resident Magistrate Samson Mumba sentenced Mr Chishimba Kambwili, a prominent political figure in our country to five months imprisonment with hard labour for his use of hate speech and tribalism. When we say the most vicious preacher of tribalism, we mean just that. This is one of the few notable people who succeeded to divide the country across tribal lines during campaigns. What is sad about it is that he was very unapologetic. The judiciary’s decisive action in holding Mr Kambwili accountable for his divisive remarks is, therefore, definitely a serious warning...
