ZESCO has not been a very good source of happiness lately. The company is struggling to keep pace with the crisis at hand. In the latest developments, Zesco announced that it was going to increase the loadshedding hours to 17 hours. Apart from that, the institution also initiated a process of increasing electricity tariffs. We are told that if ERB approves the application submitted, tariffs could go up as high as 156 per cent.
