President Edgar Lungu has urged Zambian Ambassadors and High Commissioners to challenge people opposing Government in the diaspora.

President Lungu says Ambassadors and High Commissioners have a task to explain the development Zambia has achieved under the PF Government.

The President was speaking at State House when he swore in former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Rayford Mbulu as Zambian High Commissioner to Ghana and former Defense Permanent Secretary Rose Salukatula as Ambassador to Sweden.

Others are Andrew Chellah as Special Assistant to the President for Project Implementation and Monitoring, Boyd Chirwa as Public Policy specialist -Policy Analysis and Co-ordination division and Erick Wamundila as Documentalist- Policy Analysis and Co-ordination division.

And President Lungu has challenged the appointees to deliver for the betterment of the country.
Meanwhile, Mr. Mbulu has assured President Lungu that he will aim at improving on the records set by past High Commissioners.

And Ms Salukatula said she will continue from where her predecessor left to create stronger bilateral ties between Sweden and Zambia. ZNBC
