MINISTER of Technology and Science Felix Mutati has dissolved the management board of Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commerce.

In a statement, Thursday, Mutati said he had also dissolved the management board of the National Institute for Scientific Research, with immediate effect.

“Today, I have dissolved the management board of Evelyn Hone College of Applied Arts and Commerce with immediate effect. This has been done with powers vested in me as Minister responsible for Technical Education, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Training TEVET. This is in accordance with Section 10 of the TEVET Act no. 13 of 1998 and TEVET Amendment Act no. 11 of 2005,” stated Mutati.

“I have further dissolved the management board of the National Institute for Scientific Research NISR with immediate effect, in accordance with PART (v) 10 (1) and (2) of the Scientific and Technology Act No. 26 of 1997. I wish to thank the outgoing board members for the guidance and service rendered to both institutions and wish them well in their future activities.”
