ACTING Minister of Home Affairs Ambrose Lufuma yesterday sparked laughter in the National Assembly after he failed to pronounce “Methamphetamine” and instead ended up saying “whatever”. First Deputy Speaker Attractor Chisangano, who was sitting in as Chairperson of the committee on supply, however, asked Lufuma to say the name of the drug after a point of order was raised against him for saying “whatever”. Giving a policy statement on Head 16 of the budget estimates for the Drug Enforcement Commission on the floor of the House Tuesday, Lufuma failed to pronounce the drug Methamphetamine which he said was among the most seized by the commission. “The commission has continued to conduct wide spread operations including significant seizures of various drugs....
