FORMER Health Minister Dr Brian Chituwo has challenged government to share long-term solutions for cholera control. And Economic Front leader Wynter Kabimba says Health Minister Sylvia Masebo’s recent statement that people living in high unsanitary conditions should consider going back to the village because they are safer there is terribly embarrassing. In an interview, Dr Chituwo said investment in adequate safe water, sanitation and personal hygiene would help government contain the cholera situation. “This, whatever is being done now is crisis management.
