ZESCO has assured the mining sector and industries that it is exploring several strategies to bolster power supply to mitigate the impact of the current electricity deficit. The company has estimated that load-shedding will result in it losing $35 million monthly, however, when News Diggers requested for last month’s revenue in a press query, Zesco Spokesperson Matongo Maumbi failed to disclose the figures, but indicated that financial estimates might vary slightly with fluctuations in power demand and operational adjustments.
