THE Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) yesterday conducted a search at the residence of former ZAMMSA director general Victor Nyasulu. The commission says the search was part of an ongoing investigation into matters related to ZAMMSA. Meanwhile, DEC officers also searched the home of former ZAMMSA pipeline manager Nalishebo Siyandi. Nyasulu was removed as ZAMMSA DG soon after an incident in which 61 containers of government procured drugs and other medical supplies were discovered marooned at a private warehouse, J&J. According to eyewitnesses, DEC officers seized some ZAMMSA documents from Nyasulu’s house and summoned him to their offices, where he was made to declare his income for the last 27 years.
