LABOUR and Social Security Minister Brenda Tambatamba has revealed that on January 30, 2025, Cabinet approved in principle, a comprehensive package of pension reforms. Tambatamba says the current 20 percent partial withdrawal benefit will be expanded to allow members to access this amount as a lump sum at retirement, with the possibility of increasing the percentage beyond 20 percent.
