MUNALI aspiring MP Thomas Sipalo alias Diffikoti has joined the UPND, pledging to support President Hakainde Hichilema in the August general elections. Following his loss after contesting the Munali seat as an independent candidate in 2021, Sipalo joined the United Kwacha Alliance (UKA), and also briefly joined the Democratic Party (DP). He later joined the Tonse Alliance led by late former president Edgar Lungu.
