THE Zambia Qualifications Authority (ZAQA) says there is need to revise the referencing guidelines, in order to allow Zambia’s qualifications be recognised within SADC. ZAQA Board Chairperon Professor Victor Zulu notes that many graduates face challenges when their qualifications are subjected to further examinations in other countries, hindering integration and growth. ZAQA is holding a three-day SADC Qualifications Framework, Technical Working Group (TWG) Workshop, to look at guidelines that will enable qualifications and national occupational standards to be recognised in the region.
