POULTRY Association of Zambia (PAZ) Executive Manager Dominic Chanda says the appreciation of the Kwacha during the course of the year affected business in the sector. In an interview, Chanda said the appreciation of the Kwacha led to poultry products becoming expensive on the export market. “The prices of feed have not moved and we would have expected the price of feed to go up given the fact that we had a low output of maize, we also had a low output of other key ingredients.
