ENERGY Regulation Board (ERB) Board Chairperson Reynolds Bowa says a significant number of submissions are expected from the public concerning Zesco’s proposal to increase electricity tariffs. The ERB recently received an application from Zesco Limited for an upward adjustment of electricity tariffs for various customer categories for a multi-year period of five years between 2023 and 2027. In its application, Zesco requested tariff increments of 37%, 9%, 15%, 10%, and 14% in 2023, 2024, 2025, 2026, and 2027.
