ENERGY Minister Peter Kapala has described the Kwacha appreciation as good news for the petroleum sector, saying it means fuel prices will reduce. And Kapala says despite the conversion of the TAZAMA Pipeline, diesel prices might remain constant for two months so that the product which was transported by road is exhausted. According to the Bank of Zambia market rates for Friday, the Kwacha was buying at 18.1375 against the US dollar and selling at 18.1875, as at 15:30 hours.
