THE Food Reserve Agency (FRA) has announced that it has started selling the 100, 000 metric tonnes of soya beans on the Zambian Commodity Exchange (ZAMACE) platform. In May this year, the agency revealed that it did not intend to buy soya beans during this year’s crop marketing season because it was sitting on 100,000 metric tonnes of the commodity. The announcement was, however, not received well by most stakeholders who asked the FRA to revisit its decision.
