THE Food Reserve Agency (FRA) says it has paid over K1.9 billion to farmers who supplied various crops to the institution for the 2023 crop marketing season. In a statement, Wednesday, FRA Public Relations Coordinator John Chipandwe, said during the 2023 crop marketing season, the Agency purchased 6,938,489 of 50 kg bags of maize. “The Food Reserve Agency (FRA) has paid all farmers that supplied their crops during this year’s crop marketing season that closed on 31st October 2023. A total of K1,943,195,420.00 was paid to farmers countrywide that supplied crops to the agency.
