HUNGRY Lion Limited has asked the Lusaka High Court to dismiss a matter in which a Lusaka resident has sued the fast food chain, seeking K1 million compensation for allegedly subjecting her to eating food which had maggots. The defendants want the matter to be dismissed on the basis of want of prosecution. In this matter, Betty Bwale sued Hungry Lion Limited, seeking an order that the firm awards her general damages, damages for mental anguish, stress, inconvenience, costs and any other relief the court might deem fit.
