FORMER justice minister Given Lubinda yesterday appeared before the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court where he denied charges of failure to surrender a diplomatic passport and holding more than one passport. Lubinda, who is PF faction vice president pleaded not guilty to the charges before Lusaka Resident Magistrate Kawama Mwamfuli after the counts were read to him. In the first count, it is alleged that between January 1, 2023 and October 26, 2023 in Lusaka, Lubinda, without reasonable excuse, failed or refused to submit or surrender a Diplomatic Passport number ZN873367 to the Chief passports and Citizenship Officer when required to do so.
