HIP-HOP is one of the most known music genres in the world. In 2023, the music genre was celebrating a milestone of over 50 years of existence. It wouldn’t be wrong to suggest that Hip-Hop came into Zambia in the late 90s with the likes of Daddy Zemus inspiring many Zambian rappers. In the mid-2000s hip-hop continued to grow with artistes like Tommy D, Slap D and Crisis among other rappers jumping on the scene.
