NAPSA Stars has signed five new players in a bid to strengthen thousand ahead of the 2017 MTN/FAZ Super League which kicks off in March.
According to press statement issued by Napsa Stars Media and Public Relations Officer Gwen Chipasula today, the club has signed Kenyan and former Nairobi City Stars striker Jimmy Bageya on a one year contract deal.
Bageya has joined the team and is being drilled by coach Tenant Chilumba and his technical bench in Livingstone where the team is for pre-season training.
Other players signed include Congolese striker Pumba Kannic from super league side Lumpa Football Club.
Kannic has signed a two-year contract deal with the pensioners.
From the local clubs, Napsa has signed two year contracts with former Nakambala Leopard Striker Signs Chibambo, former Mufulira wanderers player Austin Banda and Dickson Chapa from Konkola Blades.
The Tenant Chilumba coached side, who finished last season on 10th position, is currently in Livingstone for pre-season training.
