Angola has confirmed participation in this year’s Agricultural and Commercial Show boxing tournament.

Zambia Boxing Federation (ZBF) general secretary Bright Chomba confirmed Angola will send a team of boxers to slug it out with their Zambian counterparts ahead of the region five tournament in December.

Chomba said Botswana has also indicated participation in the Show tournament but are yet to confirm.

“A team of boxers from Angola will be coming for the Agriculture and Commercial Show. We want to use this to prepare our boxers for future assignments and having in mind the zone five games,” Chomba said.

Choma said ZBF has written to government to help facilitate travel logistics for the visiting teams.
