THE Zambia under-23’s attempts to recover from a first leg defeat to Egypt failed yesterday when they were held to a scoreless home draw. It is heartbreaking exist for the Osward Mutapa tutored side and players could not hide their emotions as they broke down into tears immediately after the referee sounded the final whistle. Mutapa described losing out on the AFCON dream as painful. “A tough result to get and a painful one in that we have failed to deliver a result. Our AFCON dreams have been shuttered. I think we lost the game in Egypt. Egypt sat and defended well, we failed to create chances in front of the goal. It’s a bitter pill to swallow,” Mutapa said....
