FORMER Chipolopolo star Kennedy Mweene is concerned with Zambia’s lack of a first-choice goalkeeper ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers and 2023 AFCON tournament. Mweene says the national team needs a permanent goal custodian who will build a good relationship with the team’s defenders. However, Mweene says the current players have a chance to make history and become the first Chipolopolo team to qualify for the World Cup.
