AFRICA Boxing Union (ABU) bantamweight champion Davy Mwale says he is determined to remain disciplined and avoid making the same mistakes that have ruined other boxers. Mwale was crowned ABU bantamweight champion in December last year at the Government Complex after he defeated South Africa’s Innocent Mantengu to take the vacant title. The boxer says his target is to lay his hands on a World Boxing Council (WBC) title, and has vowed to be disciplined in its pursuit. “I don’t want to make the same mistakes that other boxers made on the road to achieving my goal.
