FASHION Sakala is making a strong case for his inclusion in the national team ahead of next month’s 2026 World Cup qualifier matches against Morocco and Tanzania. In March, Sakala was a notable absentee from the Chipolopolo as they played at the Four-Nations tournament in Malawi against the hosts, Kenya and Zimbabwe. While Chipolopolo coach Avram Grant did not give a reason for Sakala’s omission, speculation was that the striker had been iced owing to his lukewarm performance at the Africa Cup of Nations (AfCON) in Ivory Coast last January.
