Police in Choma have arrested a 41-year-old man for sexually abusing and impregnating his 16-year-old biological daughter.

Southern Province Police Commissioner Bonny Kapeso disclosed this in a statement, Thursday.

Kapeso stated that Hastings Siambulo was believed to have been abusing his daughter between November last year and February this year.

“Hastings Siambulo of Maleba settlement farm, is alleged to have been having carnal knowledge of his 16-year old daughter between November last year and February this year. His wife reported the matter to the police and having subjected the girl to medical examination, it was discovered that the girl had a 31-week-old pregnancy. The father has been arrested and charged with incest and will appear in court soon,” stated Kapeso.
