MINISTRY of Information and Broadcasting Services permanent secretary Amos Malupenga says the treasury has released K200 million for retirees, civil servants and people who have died. Speaking at a media briefing, Tuesday, Malupenga said government was expected to dismantle the outstanding debt within six months. “Today we are talking about K200 million which has been released by the treasury and we thank the treasury for that commitment. They have been engaging through PSMD and as government we have also been engaging with the treasury so this is just the beginning.
