THE Lusaka District Education Board has notified all headteachers in public primary and secondary schools of the ban on the sale of uniforms in schools in the district. In a letter dated January 4, Lusaka District education board secretary Teddy Chibwe stated that parents were obliged to buy school uniforms for their children from any source as long as the shade of the uniform meets the requirements of the school. “This serves to remind you of the policy of the Ministry of Education on the sale of uniforms in school.
