THE Zambia Police Service has arrested 20 people aged between 18 and 53 in Katete’s Kamwaza village, suspected to have attacked the nine police officers. And Kajoba has commended the officers for not retaliating by using force or opening fire on the villagers, disclosing that his command is considering promoting them. Nine police officers were injured in Katete district on Saturday after a mob attacked them during the course of their duty. The officers were following up on a report of malicious damage to property in two villages. Following the incident, more police officers were deployed to the district.
