FORMER vice-president Enoch Kavindele says the issue of stopping a former president from travelling outside the country is a trend which has been happening since UNIP days, noting that former president Edgar Lungu had also stopped Rupiah Banda from travelling to seek medical aid in South Africa. In a letter dated September 7, 2023, Deputy Secretary to Cabinet Dr Oliver Kalabo informed Lungu that his request to travel to South Africa had not been granted.
