TRANSPARENCY International Zambia (TI-Z) says Health Minister Sylvia Masebo should not only bemoan the high levels of corruption in Zambia but should take a step further by addressing the scourge at her ministry. TI-Z has further challenged cabinet ministers to examine the accountability mechanisms in their ministries in order to ensure that any systemic weaknesses that would allow for corruption to thrive are dealt with. On Tuesday, Masebo, who is also Chongwe UPND member of parliament lamented that corruption had become the biggest challenge in the country, and cut across every sector.
