THE Department of Immigration yesterday released former Archbishop Emmanuel Milingo’s passport, barely 24 hours after stopping him from leaving the country for South Korea. The Department says it has concluded the investigation it was conducting and there was no reason to continue keeping his passport. On Tuesday, the Department of Immigration at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport blocked Archbishop Milingo from leaving the country for South Korea. According to the Immigration Department, the decision to deny the former Archbishop exit was based on confidential information it received from his immediate family members.
