SOCIALIST Party leader Fred M’membe’s wife, Mutinta Mazoka, was infuriated yesterday after a female police officer uttered offensive words while denying her entry into Twin Palm Police Station where her husband was detained. Mutinta remarked that her father, Anderson Mazoka, founder of UPND, did not die for the country to experience such “nonsense”. Earlier, the Zambia Police Service arrested and formally charged Dr M’membe with the offence of seditious practices. Mutinta, who was accompanied by her son, was, however, denied entry to visit Dr M’membe. While trying to negotiate her way into the police station, a police officer made a remark that angered her.
