THE Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) has apprehended three suspects for possession of counterfeit notes amounting to US$280,000. In a statement, Tuesday, DEC Public Relations Officer Allan Tamba said the suspects were apprehended around Heroes Stadium in Lusaka District as they attempted to sell the counterfeit notes to unsuspecting members of the public. “The Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC), in Lusaka Province, has successfully conducted a meticulously planned operation that culminated in the arrest of three individuals dealing in counterfeit currency.
