CATHOLIC Priest Fr Chewe Mukosa has argued that when the church speaks for the poor, it does not mean it has issues with sitting governments. He says African leaders have a tendency of forgetting their promises once they get into power. Fr Mukosa adds that the Catholic Church may seem to have issues with each government that comes into power because the ruling party holds the country’s coffers.
