CHIEF Madzimawe of the Ngoni-speaking people of Eastern Province says politics should not be physical but a competition of ideologies. And Chief Madzimawe has urged politicians to exercise maturity and not engage in fights. In an interview, Tuesday, Chief Madzimawe said in a democratic dispensation, politicians must operate in a civil manner by competing against each other with ideologies and not violence. “There’s time for campaigns, and then once [the] results are announced, campaigns stop, and we expect those that have been mandated to start work based on their campaign promises.
