COMMUNITY Action against Corruption (CAAC) says it has no confidence that recently arrested ZAMMSA officials will be brought to book. CAAC Executive Director Brightone Tembo has argued that it is difficult to get excited about arrests of corrupt individuals under the UPND government, because many cases end in favourable acquittals or lenient sentences. On Wednesday, the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) arrested former Ministry of Health Acting Permanent Secretary for Administration, Dr Sivah Kachimba, alongside senior ZAMMSA officials, as part of ongoing investigations in the health sector.
